Featuring ARCAM's innovative Class G amplification, this high-power multichannel amplifier delivers silky-smooth audio that packs a punch when needed. It is the natural partner for the ARCAM AVP45 processor and a high-quality amplifier for many other AV applications. 

The perfect partner for the AVP45

With its Radia styling and matching electronics, the PA9 is the ideal partner for the AVP45 processor, the two sharing a natural sonic synergy. A single PA9 unlocks 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. Add a second PA9 and you can boost the main channels or increase the channel count right up to 9.1.6, linked via balanced XLR cables for professional connectivity.

Optimise your ARCAM AV amplifier

The PA9 also pairs beautifully with the AVA35, taking its nine channels up to 16 for speaker configurations as large as 9.1.6, with Class G amplification perfectly tuned to the AVA35's sonic signature. It can also be added to an AVA25 or an older-generation ARCAM amplifier for a big upgrade in multichannel performance, and it works with any AV receiver that has preamp outputs to power all your surround channels.

Innovative Class G technology

ARCAM's pioneering Class G amplification gives the PA9 the best possible sound in all circumstances. The first wave of power is delivered in pure Class A, renowned for a rich, smooth, lifelike sound. Beyond that point, efficient digital amplification takes over, delivering plenty of power without the inefficiency of pure Class A. Sweet and refined yet a beast when unleashed, the PA9 provides 140 watts per channel, or 100 watts with all nine channels driven, with power for the largest rooms and the least efficient speakers.

Balanced XLR inputs and Radia design

For studio-quality connectivity, the PA9 features balanced XLR inputs that lock firmly in place and resist electrical interference over long cable runs, the perfect match for the AVP45's balanced XLR outputs. Regular RCA phono inputs are also provided for other sources. As part of the Radia series, the PA9 pairs a clean design and subtle illumination with a shielding aluminium casing for a high-quality presence that never distracts from the sound.
