The MA 30.3 mkII is a powerful Class A/AB mono power amplifier delivering 300 watts into 4 ohms and based on the legendary AVM 30.3 series. The MOS-FET output stage, in combination with the large 550 VA toroidal transformer, ensures a stable power supply and first-class sound quality. Two separate power supplies for the preamplifier and power amplifier stages guarantee high signal purity and sonic precision. The amplifier features comprehensive protection circuits against DC voltage, overtemperature, and short circuits to ensure maximum operational safety. Filtering with over 40,000 µF further contributes to a smooth current flow.

The MA 30.3 mkII's chassis is crafted from lacquered sheet steel and features an elegant, brushed aluminum front panel, available in silver or black. This high-quality construction provides a robust foundation for the massive transformers and sensitive electronics. Bi-wiring terminals allow for flexible speaker connections, while gold-plated XLR and RCA inputs ensure lossless signal transmission. Thanks to the innovative AIR (AVM Intelligent Remote) function, the power amplifier can be conveniently switched on and off when connected to an AVM preamplifier – without the need for additional trigger cables. Automatic operating modes (signal-sensitive, trigger, continuous operation) offer further flexibility for integration into any setup.
