This new iteration of the renowned Planet L has been designed to deliver even more extended sound reproduction at the extreme frequencies, more expressive in the midrange, and finally more dynamic, meeting the demands of the most discerning audiophiles.

A major evolution
Compared to previous Planet L models , this Performance version benefits from a thorough technical overhaul. Its new high-end coaxial speaker combines a 165 mm bass-midrange driver with a cellulose pulp membrane surfaced with a damping treatment benefiting from almost double the handling power, and a 25 mm treated silk dome tweeter optimized by a Neodymium magnet with a horn starter for a linear extension of high frequencies. This design guarantees a more linear frequency response and a homogeneous diffusion of high frequencies, with distortion reduced to a minimum.

The crossover, of the same quality as that used in the Planet L Gold Edition , incorporates high-quality audiophile components: MKP polypropylene capacitors, MKT polyester capacitors, low internal resistance inductors, and 2.25 mm² OFC internal wiring. This technical choice ensures optimal frequency separation and high-purity sound reproduction.

Tighter bass and improved dynamics Thanks to DAR® (Double Asymmetric Rubber)
technology , the speaker's peripheral suspension guarantees perfect control, even at high volume. The bass-reflex tuning frequency is adjusted to 50 Hz to be perfectly aligned with the speaker's resonance.

The Planet L Performance retains the dimensions and fixing systems of the previous models, guaranteeing total compatibility with existing accessories: wall bracket, foot bracket and ceiling bracket .
