TheĀ JURA XLRĀ cable features metal connectors with a bronze-tin alloy contact andĀ Tellurium copper plated with 24k Gold. It uses multi-stranded OFC 4N pure copper conductors with a larger cross section than the Jura cable, and a surface plating of SPC (Silver Plated Copper).
ItsĀ triple shieldingĀ provides perfect isolation from surrounding electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (RFI & EMI). This shielding consists of conductors insulated by copper-mylar sheets, as well as a central core filled with cotton fibers to reduce internal micro-vibrations. On the outside, it is wrapped in a thick aluminum and PVC foil for optimal peripheral insulation.
