KLH Model Four (Each)

The KLH Model Four brings acoustic suspension performance to rooms where size and placement flexibility matter. Featuring an 8" woofer paired with the same midrange and tweeter array as the acclaimed Model Five, the Model Four delivers exceptional vocal clarity and high-frequency detail. Its slim 8.25" cabinet depth (11" with stand) makes it the most placement-friendly speaker in the Model Collection, able to sit as close as six inches from a wall without compromise.

Acoustic Suspension Engineering

Originally developed by Edgar Villchur and Henry Kloss at Acoustic Research and perfected by Kloss at KLH, the acoustic suspension design uses air as a spring to control the woofer’s movement. This approach delivers deep, accurate bass and allows placement as close as six inches from a wall— offering powerful performance and real-world flexibility. 

Three-Position Acoustic Balance Control 

Originally introduced by KLH in the late 1960s, the three-position switch allows listeners to reduce midrange and high-frequency response by 1.5 or 3dB to match different rooms and reflective surfaces — ensuring consistent, high-fidelity sound in any environment.

Wide Baffle Design

A defining KLH hallmark, the wide front baffle minimizes edge diffraction for smoother sound dispersion and natural midrange presence. The result is a broad, stable soundstage with precise imaging and natural midrange presence.
