STREAM 1

Only reality itself sounds so real - but often it doesn't even look as promising

Sometimes less is more – when every detail is engineered to perfection. Despite its compact size, the STREAM 1 bookshelf loudspeaker incorporates all the advanced technologies and acoustic refinements that define the series, delivering performance far beyond expectations.

DYNAMIC ELEGANCE – BIG SOUND

The STREAM 1 is a compact bookshelf speaker with impressive presence and exceptional sound quality. Its compact dimensions allow for easy integration into modern living spaces – but its sound extends far beyond its size.

In combination with popular all-in-one streaming amplifiers, a perfectly harmonizing overall system is created: sonically precise, uncomplicated to integrate and immediately convincing. Instead of complex individual components, the STREAM LINE offers a clear and understandable solution for sophisticated music enjoyment.

With the STREAM LINE, Audio Physic brings advanced carbon diaphragm technology to the entry-level class for the first time. Materials from NASA technology and formula racing car construction ensure maximum rigidity with minimum weight – the basis for dynamics, precision and exceptional control.

The 45 mm “Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm” cone tweeter (HHCT-TPCD) convinces with extremely fast impulse response, the finest detail resolution and an unadulterated high-frequency reproduction – even at high levels.

The 180 mm bass-midrange driver with carbon Kevlar cone delivers powerful, controlled bass and impressively dynamic reproduction across the entire frequency range.

Clean lines, harmonious proportions and a timeless aesthetic make the STREAM 1 a loudspeaker that not only sounds great but also becomes part of the living space.

Perfection down to the last detail – designed for music lovers who expect more.

2-Way Design

The 2-way speaker features two different drivers that share reproduction of the entire frequency range – one mid-woofer (in the case of center speakers, often two of them) and a tweeter. Usually the crossover frequency is set between 2,000Hz and 3,000Hz.

HHCT – TPCD: Hyper Holographic Cone Tweeter mit “Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm”

TPCD – High-Tech Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm

Advanced loudspeaker performance begins with the diaphragm. The HHCT tweeter features TPCD (Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm) technology, utilizing a material originally developed for demanding aerospace and motorsport applications.

The ultra-thin carbon fiber layers allow precise control of stiffness, weight, and resonance behavior across the entire diaphragm surface. This significantly reduces unwanted resonances, ensuring controlled, accurate, and uncolored reproduction even at the highest listening levels.

The result is a tweeter capable of reproducing music with exceptional speed, resolution, and dynamics. The finest details become clearly audible, vocals gain realism, and instruments are presented with remarkable presence and authenticity.

Key benefits of TPCD technology:

  • Extremely stiff yet lightweight carbon diaphragm
  • Fast and accurate transient response
  • Controlled resonance behavior for clean reproduction
  • High efficiency and outstanding dynamics
  • Ultra-low distortion, even at elevated sound pressure levels
  • Exceptional detail retrieval and transparency

TPCD combines state-of-the-art material science with uncompromising acoustic engineering, delivering a listening experience that captivates even the most demanding audiophiles.

Woofer/Mid-Woofer with Carbon-Kevlar Diaphragm

Carbon-Kevlar Diaphragm – Precision Meets Musicality

The woofer/mid-woofer driver is the heart of any loudspeaker. It is responsible for reproducing voices, instruments, and the subtle musical details that bring recordings to life. That is why this driver features a specially engineered Carbon-Kevlar diaphragm.

Combining two advanced composite materials, the diaphragm unites the exceptional stiffness of carbon fiber with the excellent damping characteristics of Kevlar. The result is a diaphragm capable of reproducing even the smallest signal variations with remarkable accuracy while effectively controlling unwanted resonances.

Thanks to its high structural stability, the diaphragm maintains a clean and natural sound even at elevated listening levels. Vocals gain realism, instruments sound more authentic, and the entire midrange range benefits from outstanding transparency, dynamics, and detail.

Key benefits of the Carbon-Kevlar diaphragm:

  • Combination of high stiffness and controlled damping
  • Precise and low-coloration midrange reproduction
  • Natural sound with exceptional vocal realism
  • Outstanding detail retrieval and transparency
  • High dynamic capability, even with demanding music material
  • Controlled resonance behavior for maximum sonic purity

The Carbon-Kevlar diaphragm combines state-of-the-art material technology with audiophile acoustic engineering, creating the foundation for an exceptionally natural, engaging, and lifelike musical experience.

VCF – Vibration Control Feet optional

The best feet for our – and other – speakers. VCF provide a substantial improvement of sound performance by reducing transfer of unwanted vibrations while at the same time protecting delicate surfaces. Also available as VCF Component for Hi-Fi separates and as VCF Cable Supports.
