Not long ago, people assumed AC cables could have no effect on the sound of a stereo system, and some still believe this to be true. The same holds for audio interconnects and speaker cables, while people who have listened know better. But what about DC? Surly, DC is just DC, right? Wrong. We’ve known for years that DC cables affect the sound of active components like Tranquility Bases and Tranquility PODs. So we set out to build the ultimate DC cable capable of transforming the performance of Active Synergistic Research components with the same newly developed technologies found in our Galileo Discovery and SRX level power cords. We start with a pure 99.9999% silver monofilament conductor in an air dielectric hand made in our California factory and add UEF Technology first developed for SRX level power cords and then apply a long duration high voltage conditioning process also designed for the SRX cable loom. The net result is a DC cable that dramatically improves the audible performance of SR components when spanning between our new UEF Linear Power Supplies and DC-powered Synergistic Research components. We even developed a special DC cable voiced for the Roon Nucleus Server, and we included a UEF Gold Carbon Tuning Disc so you can fine-tune the performance of your Nucleus to match the overall balance of your system.

SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning.

After perfecting the most natural-sounding and holographic cables in our history, we set out to take them further with a new high voltage conditioning process that applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. We experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. We even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol.
